Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to join our team. This role involves managing employment-related litigation and providing legal counsel on a broad range of employment law matters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong litigation background, exceptional legal research and writing skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service. Key Responsibilities Serve as first or second chair in employment litigation and other legal matters as needed. Provide legal counsel on a wide array of employment issues including hiring, discipline, termination, wage and hour compliance, workplace accommodations, and policy development. Draft and review legal documents such as employment agreements, handbooks, severance agreements, and internal policies. Prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and opinions, supported by comprehensive legal research. Represent clients in investigations by federal and state agencies (e.g., EEOC, DOL). Conduct internal investigations and risk assessments for workplace issues. Ensure all legal documents comply with applicable laws and accurately reflect client interests. Collaborate with senior attorneys, partners, and internal teams to refine legal strategies. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and maintaining strong communication. Actively participate in firm committees, meetings, and professional development initiatives. Stay current with evolving laws, regulations, and legal precedents. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar where practicing. 5-7 years of experience in legal practice, with a focus on employment law and litigation. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly. Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills. High level of professionalism and ethical conduct. Strong time management and ability to handle multiple complex projects independently.
