Job Description
A well-established and thriving dermatology practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team. This full-time, traveling temp-to-hire opportunity with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is ideal for a medical assistant who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about patient care in medical, cosmetic, pediatric, and surgical dermatology.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with a variety of in-office procedures, including MOHS surgeries
Administer medications and perform injections under supervision
Sterilize instruments and maintain exam room readiness
Support dermatologists in delivering high-quality patient experiences
Ensure accurate documentation using EMA EHR (preferred)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience
MOHS surgery assistance experience required
Certified Medical Assistant from an accredited program
Experience with EMA Electronic Health Records is strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with a calm, professional demeanor
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned clinic locations
Clinic Locations by Day:
Monday & Friday: Brenham
Tuesday & Wednesday: Bellaire
Thursday: Katy
