Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Round Lake, Illinois. Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:

• $50 – $54 an hour
• 2025-2026 School Year
• $3000 assignment bonus for new Supplemental Health Care employees
• Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday.
• Start Date: August 2025
• End Date: May 2026
• Location: In-person
• Details: Caseload / school assignment will be made by the Special Education Director based on experience and preference of the candidate.
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student
• May be asked to supervise assistants

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology
• Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Illinois IDFPR SLP License
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification
