CrossTech is seeking a Senior Google Cloud Engineer to support one of our clients in Philadelphia, PA. This is an onsite role in Philadelphia, PA with 2 days WFH.

Job Description
Design, implement, and administer GCP architecture and environments, including cloud-native applications and automation.
Optimize GCP costs, create cloud architecture diagrams, and extend on-prem policy and standards to cloud deployments.
Implement solutions addressing cybersecurity issues, perform compliance validation and audits, and improve monitoring, configuration management, and reporting.
Provide technical expertise in cloud technologies, support requests, and troubleshooting issues involving other teams, partners, and vendors.
Manage the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including the design and implementation of Terraform pipelines and scanning.
Collaborate with the application development team to understand cloud infrastructure requirements and ensure high availability, performance, security, and maintainability of services.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.At least 7+ years’ of experience in GCP and 10+ years’ with infrastructure as code and cloud orchestration, including hands-on experience with Terraform and reusable module creation.Expertise in GCP services, Cloud Build, Cloud Logging, Artifact Registry, and Google Cloud deployment.Experience with Google BigQuery, Composer, GKE, Cloud SQL, AI/ML models, IAM solutions, and scripting languages.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, CI, and registry tools.Solid understanding of cloud operations and engineering, including IAM, logging, encryption, security protocols, disaster recovery design, automated infrastructure capabilities like backups and monitoring, and high availability strategies.Excellent communication skills and collaborative work experience.Preferred CertificationsGoogle Cloud Professional Cloud ArchitectGCP Associate or Professional CertificationRelevant Technologies

Compensation
$73-75/hr
