Reporting directly to theChief Revenue Officer,the Sr. Director, Provider Sales will lead and manage a direct sales team working with executive leaders and project sponsors in the large, healthcare provider market to drive responsible for generating leads, qualifying opportunities and securing new business within assigned territories. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Performance-based management of sales talent to meet and exceed assigned key sales metrics, including bookings and pipeline growth Identify sales talent to add to the team, as opportunities present themselves Develop sales talent within the team to achieve assigned key sales metrics Ensure team is capable of representing and communicating the vision for our company, through formal presentations and informal customer discussions Develop and execute a detailed annual sales plan for each of the assigned Regional Sales Directors, Manage the process of territory assignment and quota allocation for assigned territory. Provide weekly reporting of pipeline and forecast updates and management calls Represent and communicate the vision for our company, through formal presentations and informal customer discussions Provide thought leadership and also act as a key voice of the customer and voice of the field to ensure important messaging is delivered and driven within the company. Remain abreast of market trends, competition, competitive issues, products and customer needs Practice clear, transparent, and effective communications with team members, management, customers, and supporting team members Participate in teambuilding and company growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts, and customer care Travel to customer locations and industry events in support of sales efforts as necessary Identify and support the building of relationships with health systems groups Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Experience: 5+ years of sales leadership experience in a SaaS company 5+ years of sales experience in the areas of Provider, Hospital HIS/EMR or RCM Sales. 2+ years of sales management within a healthcare IT services company (preferred) Self-motivated, self-directed and competitive with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Proficient and demonstrable experience in prospecting, qualifying, creating value-based demonstrations, selling complex solutions, ability to write and direct proposal preparation, experienced in objection handling and negotiating. Ability to provide high level demonstrations of Product. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel up to 80%. Proven experience in successfully leading and motivating sales teams required Excellent entrepreneurial acumen and ability to establish high-quality service delivery required Strong mentoring and communication skills required Superb analytical skills ability to navigate fast-paced, complex sales environments required Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs Other: Proven track record of C-Suite relationship management and sales success Proven track record of contract execution Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue retention goals with complex customers Professional and effective communication skills required – comfortable with conversations at the VP and C-Suite level while also engaging users and support contacts internally and external Supervisory Responsibilities This role will lead and manage a direct sales team working with executive leaders and project sponsors in the large, healthcare provider market to drive responsible for generating leads, qualifying opportunities and securing new business within assigned territories. Working Environment and Travel Requirements Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks. Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Mostly sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. No significant stooping is usually required. This position requires up to 80% travel.
