USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

HOW Field Service Lead WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Provides administration support for racking equipment, interconnectivity, Layer 1 connectivity, and remote deployment of physical infrastructure.
• Provides troubleshooting support for system hardware and software issues that are moderately complex in scope.
• Performs support for software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
• Conducts hardware and software audits of physical workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
• Manages and replenishes bench stock or user consumable items

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: HS/GED
• Required Experience: 1+ years of experience
• Security Clearance Level: Must be willing to Obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility
• Required Certification: Security+ or CCNA or Network+
• Required Certification: Ability to Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation – ITSM Certification within the first 9 months
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.84 - $40.38. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
