Hiring for Metal Polisher and Buffer Job Description Begin your journey in grinding, where you'll use a hand grinder to smooth rough edges and polish metal to achieve a refined finish. You will cross-train in basic fabrication, cutting metal to length using a tape measure, and engage in brake press operations, spot welding, buffing, and racking for paint. Additionally, you will assist in other departments as needed, including assembly, packaging, and paint. Responsibilities Operate hand grinders to smooth and polish metal surfaces. Cross-train in basic fabrication tasks, including cutting metal and utilizing brake press. Perform spot welding and buffing operations. Assist with racking for paint applications. Support other departments such as assembly, packaging, and paint as needed. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude through previous work experience, education, or hobbies. Experience with sheet metal and grinding techniques. Proficiency in reading tape measures and understanding basic math. Competency in using hand and power tools.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.84 - $22.09/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
