Time Type: Part time Department: South End Washington Pediatrics All Locations: 1601 Washington Street Position Summary: 0.75 FTE to work as Pediatrician primarily at South End Pediatrics Department Position Summary: Provide Primary Care medical services to pediatric patients at Health Center in accordance with the usual and customary appointment schedule. Examine, diagnose and treat pediatric health problems. Perform physical examinations and order appropriate laboratory testing. Prescribe medication as needed and treat and follow patient’s courses of illness. Treat wounds, lacerations and minor trauma. Engage in preventative medicine techniques such as vaccinations and annual examinations. Perform personal and family counseling including personal and social illness such as alcohol and drug abuse, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV and AIDS.
