The Overnight Staff Pharmacist at Amazon Pharmacy is responsible for verifying medication quality assurance, collaborating with pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with regulations, and providing clinical guidance. The role includes overseeing medication orders, facilitating error resolution, and maintaining customer satisfaction by adhering to company and legal requirements. This position supports innovative pharmacy fulfillment processes aimed at making medication access easier and safer for customers.

Schedule:
Wednesday - Saturday 6:00PM start, 10 hour shifts

Key job responsibilities
• Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses.
• Collaborate with other staff pharmacist to ensure all produced packet and bulk sets undergo a thorough quality assurance check prior to shift end.
• Collaborate with other staff pharmacist to ensure all production relative to new business lines undergoes a thorough quality assurance check prior to shift end.
• Complete ancillary housekeeping pharmacy tasks including checking returns, inputting medication rejects, overseeing medication substitutions, and canister approval.
• Answer clinical questions, provide clinical guidance
• Investigate errors and facilitate proper resolution and reporting.
• Collate and deliver pertinent pharmacy information to distribution team.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures, Federal/State laws, rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in the state in which you are employed, and others
upon request. Additional licenses may be required if domicile state differs from state of
employment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, federal and state regulations concerning patient care
• Exemplary interpersonal communication skills including written and verbal communication.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Warehouse work, including the ability to lift 20lbs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year of pharmacist experience
• Experience as a Pharmacist in a LTC or Retail setting
