Description: This position should possess strong phone skills by quickly and efficiently answering and routing multiple calls throughout the day. Attention to detail is essential, as there are significant amounts of paperwork and filing. Being a team player and willing to share responsibilities with other team members is expected. All Operations team members are cross trained to fulfill various responsibilities within other positions; flexibility and a positive attitude are enforced. Paid As: Hourly, Non-Exempt Full-Time Employee Hours of Operation: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Friday Reports To: Lead Operations Coordinator, Chief Operating Officer AGENCY EXPECTATION OF EMPLOYEE Maintain confidentiality of client, donor, volunteer, staff and board information Support the mission, vision and goals of Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County Assist with meal delivery when volunteer callouts make it necessary for staff to deliver Represent Meals On Wheels in a professional manner at all times Required to pass criminal background check and have a free and clear MVR Contribute to other projects when necessary ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS Phone calls: cancellations, intakes, re-intakes, NA Review route sheet totals and investigate any discrepancies Pick up route envelopes and deliver bucket of route folders to kitchen, Haltom City route sheet to the pack out room desk, Special Meals and Main Office route sheets to Nutrition, along with a copy of the Daily Meal and Beverage report Balance supply request invoices as needed Manage and maintain Operations file room Print sign in sheets Create, retrieve and sort route folders 4 month inactive and deceased client files and remove from filing room Weekly envelope stuffing and telephone reassurance calls Cross-trained in: Ordering and maintaining agency-wide supplies, magnetic name tags, and business cards Managing the Quarterly Celebration List, Employee Meal Deduction Report, and front lobby TV display Supporting employee engagement projects, including decorating the Operations tree and wall board Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Outlook Relevant experience or knowledge and skills preferred Compensation details: 16-19 Hourly Wage PIf887372c99b9-25448-38315756
