The Medicare Sales Field Agent is dedicated to the growth of The Villages Health plan. In this field position, you will build community relationships, drive self-generated sales and meet sales goals and metrics while working independently. You will be interacting with Humana’s customers, external business partners and the community we serve through face-to-face, virtual and telephonic interactions. Face to face will encompass grass roots marketing and field sales events in the community as well as visiting prospects in their homes. Our Medicare Sales Field Agent sells individual health plan products and educates beneficiaries on our services in a field setting. Some of our additional products include: Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, Prescription, and more. Face to face interactions in prospective members’ homes are a requirement for this position. Required qualifications include the ability to have daily face to face interactions with prospective members in their homes and in the community, an active Florida Health Insurance license, experience with technology including laptops and mobile phone applications, experience with Microsoft Office products, a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance, and residency in the local territory (Lake, Marion or Sumter County). Preferred qualifications include active Florida Life and Variable Annuity Insurance license, Associate's or Bachelor's degree, experience with TEAMS and PowerPoint, community engagement experience, Medicare product sales experience, bilingual English/Spanish skills, and public speaking experience. The role requires flexibility for appointments and events that may vary on nights and weekends. Training attendance for the first five weeks is mandatory. The hiring process includes a HireVue prescreen interview. Humana offers a total compensation package including base pay plus commission with guarantee, medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement, and more.
