Lead Software Engineer - Encompass Administrator This is your chance to change the path of your career and guide multiple teams to success at one of the world's leading financial institutions. As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorganChase within the Home Lending, you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by Interpreting technical and business objectives, identifying challenges and providing innovative solutions to address them. Job Responsibilities Proven track record in supporting mortgage operations by enhancing workflow efficiency, ensuring compliance, and managing system integrations. Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers/system analysts on daily tasks and activities. Ensures optimal performance of all Home Lending systems leading to enhanced productivity and adherence to compliance regulations. Design and maintain custom input forms, business rules, field triggers, loan programs, and personas to streamline lending workflows. Support system upgrades, testing, and change management, ensuring minimal disruption during releases. Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration. Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements. Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements. Creates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. Experienced Encompass Administrator with over 7+ years of hands-on expertise in configuring, customizing, and maintaining the Encompass LOS platform to support retail, wholesale, and correspondent lending channels. Familiarity with API calls, Encompass plugins, OOP framework, and version control tools like GitHub. Exposure to JavaScript, particularly in the context of Encompass Web. Experience in writing and maintaining REST / SOAP Based APIs. Working Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git -based workflows or configuration-as-code practices. Experience leading technology projects and managing technologists and practical cloud native experience. Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods. Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle and in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems. Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines.
