MAINTENANCE MANAGER – INJECTION MOLDING

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Maintenance Manager will oversee a team of technicians and support staff, ensuring efficient operation of molding machines, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment . This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to implement structured maintenance programs with a focus on increasing uptime with predictive maintenance on IMM’s that are all fairly new .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and lead preventative and predictive maintenance initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage spare parts inventory and control maintenance spending.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to support operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Utilize CMMS systems to track maintenance activities and analyze equipment performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Injection molding maintenance experience is required (any size machines or components).
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of automation and auxiliary systems . PLC programming experience is not required.
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with a hands-on approach.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance strategies and continuous improvement methods.
• No degree required, but relevant technical training or certifications are a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Salary up to $115,000 , plus relocation assistance available.
