The Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South, the South Hill's only full-service hotel, is looking to hire an Executive Meeting Manager to join our Sales team.

The Executive Meeting Manager (EMM) will be responsible for soliciting, selling, and detailing smaller groups coming to the hotel. This position is ideal for someone looking to move from operations into a hotel sales manager position and learn from a talented team, or a current Sales Manager looking to move into the strong South Hills market.

What you'll do:

• Solicit small group and meeting business, encouraging them to stay with the Crowne Plaza.
• Have your own market to manage.
• Detail groups once they are signed, working with the Rooms team and creating BEOs for the F&B team to use to ensure a successful event and stay.
• Assist Director of Sales in sales events in the community or at trade shows.
• Make outside sales calls on current and prospective clients.
• Conduct successful site visits for prospective groups, requiring coordination between the Rooms and F&B teams to have the hotel show its best.
• Meet sales goals established by the Director of Sales and General Manager.

What you'll receive:

• Starting salary for this position is $45,000 to $50,000
• The EMM is eligible to participate in the Prospera Hospitality Sales Incentive Program. The plan is payable quarterly and reflects the hotel's quarterly performance.

Knowledge of hotel operations is required.

Previous sales experience is a plus.
