This is a Full-Time OR Part-Time  Driver  position with Alston Transportation LLC (the “Company”) delivering packages for a national technology company!

We need reliable , independent , flexible , hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment!

Compensation: $20.25/Hr Paid Bi-weekly

Shift Time(s): 10 Hour Shift/Day

As a Delivery Driver at Alston Transportation LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately within the community! You will start and end your day at an Amazon Warehouse.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages to be delivered
  • Follow GPS coordinated route and all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
  • Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
  • Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
  • Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
  • Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
  • Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
  • Report any issues or problems to management immediately

Qualifications



As a Delivery Driver, You’ll Need:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must successfully pass a background check
  • Must successfully pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening (which does include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
  • Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
  • Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 Pounds
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
