Duties vary within production. Duties include but not limited to opening meat, de-boxing, carrying boxes, moving product through production area. Manuel transfer of meat, moving equipment, making boxes, possible operation of basic processing equipment. May include some basic sanitation duties. Experience working in team environment. Skills include ability to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands, commitment to work until the job is completed, interacts well with others, good team player, ability to be trained and learn new skills. Physical demands include heavy lifting activities, standing, walking and reaching regularly. Ability to touch, feel, manipulate fingers and limbs to operate various processing and material handling equipment is necessary. Ability to smell is required to detect levels of wholesomeness and spoilage. Position requires working in refrigerated processing and warehouse areas which are cold and wet with exposure to moving machinery and sharp surfaces.
