We are looking for reliable Unarmed Security Guards to protect the residential and commercial properties of our clients against theft, vandalism, fire, and much more.

The unarmed security guard position will provide strong security presence and visibility on the site and assist contractors, subcontractors, clients, vendors & visitors with safety, security and customer service.

Anticipated Start Date: Thursday, July 24

Shift: 7am-4pm

Position: Fire Watch Security Officer

Availability: Must Be Flexible during the week and weekends as needed.

Must Have Your Own Transportation

Job Site Area: Alpharetta GA 30076

Responsibilities

• Designated Fire Watch Security Officer conducts continuous patrols throughout the complex for the duration of the fire watch. The fire watch must always remain active and vigilant while the fire protection system is out of service.
• Prior to the initiation of the fire watch
  • The Security Officer is required to personally notify each tenant or business occupant within the complex.
  • They must be advised that the automatic sprinkler system is currently non-operational and that a fire watch is being implemented in accordance with life safety protocols.
  • Once the fire protection system is restored and the fire watch has concluded, a follow-up notification should also be provided.
• During the fire watch, the Security Officer must maintain a detailed log documenting hourly patrol
  • This should include confirmation that each business has been visited and no fire hazards were observed.
  • This checklist should include time-stamped entries and be readily available for review by the Fire Marshal's Office upon request.
  • Watch for suspicious activity and/or unsafe conditions and report such
• The daily log shall be provided to our on-site superintendent for upload into our daily reports/logs for the project.

Qualifications

• Must have open availability to work to work during the Week and Weekends As Needed
• Must be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have your own vehicle to transport to job site
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Neat well groomed professional appearance
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must have own working smartphone
