Job Summary:

Working from our downtown Chicago office, we are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Finance/IR/Capital Markets Intern to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program. KRG is a fast-paced environment and provides hands-on experience to develop skills needed to succeed in the REIT industry and the specific function relating to the internship. Interns will assist with a wide range of duties and will have the opportunity to interface with various business departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Finance focus on a wide variety of analysis on competitor behaviors and the current financial market. They create financial forecasts and potential strategies to share with investors and the Executive team. Responsibilities and duties of the Corporate Finance Intern include the following:

• Using Argus Enterprise for projects surrounding budgeting and forecasting procedures
• Underwriting tenant credit of prospective retailers and monitoring quarterly earnings reports from major retailers in the portfolio
• Working with the transactions team to find potential acquisitions in target markets
• Generate reporting materials based on macroeconomic information for presentation to Executive Team
• Assist in creating presentations for the executive team, investors, and other departments
• Help improve and implement financial processes and procedures
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Argus Enterprise
• Business, economics, or finance majors
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Salary : Hiring Hourly Range of:$18.00 - $20.00
