Farm Manager Our agricultural operations are in the Cottonwood and Cornville areas. We focus on indoor and outdoor growing spaces that produce limited, specific crops destined primarily for local farm-to-table-based restaurants, tasting rooms and specialty retail items. We are expanding our growing opportunities with a focus on state-of-the-art greenhouses with an aim of maximizing space, resources, and sustainability. Seeking Departmental Manager to oversee all operations and staff. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee Planting/Crop strategies Develop, implement, and oversee production results such as yields, plant health and space efficiencies Assist as a keyperson in the expansion plans of the program Hire, train, develop, schedule, assess and deploy all staff members Maintain a safe work environment, maintain food safety & sanitation, and organizational practices at levels above requirements Oversee and participate in all aspects of indoor and outdoor field work including, soil preparations, seeding / planting, pruning / harvesting Create and oversee solutions related to general field, equipment, and facility repairs Quality control measurements and assessments Qualifications Educational background in horticulture and/or agricultural processes and practices Minimum 5 years of prior growing experiences in outdoor and indoor spaces Minimum of five years of experience directly overseeing a staff of 6 or more employees The ability to lead through organizational management structures and physically work and participate in the growing programs on an active basis Compensation Salary pay structure with a rate at or above industry and local market levels.
