Our team is trusted by over 80 public entities across Texas, known for delivering timely, on-budget results across Job Order Contracting and CSP Construction Services. With a focus on the K-12, government, and municipal markets, we combine innovation, experience, and an unwavering dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. Join a team where integrity, operational excellence, and long-term client relationships are the foundation of everything we build!

About The Role-

Do you thrive on organization, attention to detail, and keeping projects moving seamlessly? At Jamail & Smith, our Contracts & Project Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the flow of information, documentation, and compliance across our projects. From assisting with contracts to coordinating subcontractor documentation and maintaining accurate records, you’ll be the backbone that helps our project teams deliver efficiently and on time.

This role requires a proactive problem-solver who is comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure contracts are executed, compliance is maintained, and project administration runs smoothly.

Responsibilities-

Contract Administration

  • Assist with preparing, reviewing, and tracking subcontractor and customer contracts, including master agreements and bidding documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of executed contracts, amendments, and supporting documentation.
  • Support the negotiation process by coordinating edits, gathering signatures, and ensuring timely execution.

Risk Management Support

  • Help identify and document project risks related to contracts, compliance, and scheduling.
  • Maintain risk logs and assist in developing mitigation plans with project teams.
  • Support claims tracking by logging correspondence, invoices, and outcomes.
  • Ensure company enrollment and documentation for owner-required risk management programs

Why Join Us?

At Jamail & Smith, you’ll be part of a team that values teamwork, responsibility, and craftsmanship. We offer a collaborative culture where your organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset directly contribute to project success. This is more than just an administrative role—it’s your opportunity to be a trusted partner in both contract execution and risk management, helping safeguard projects across Texas.
