Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industry, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Decorah, IA

Pay Range: $18/HR

Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and routers, following work instructions and blueprints.
• Load raw materials into CNC machines and securely position them for machining operations.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and precision.
• Inspect in-process and finished components using measurement tools.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve production issues and improve processes.

What's Needed?

• Ability to operate and troubleshoot CNC machine tools.
• Familiarity with computer-based machine controls and program inputs.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding geometric tolerancing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• Basic computer skills for interfacing with CNC software and communication.
