  Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Certified Pharmacy Technician Schedule

• Training (Onsite, 4 weeks): Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CS
• Post-Training (Remote): Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM CST
• • Rotating Saturday shifts (permanent Sunday schedule may be required)
  • If scheduled Saturday, Sunday off (and vice versa
  • Must report onsite if technical issues or internet outages occur

Certified Pharmacy Technician Position Summary

Exciting opportunity for Certified Pharmacy Technicians to support the Participant Services Department during the ramp season . This role plays a high-impact part in delivering exceptional service to members in a complex, customer-facing environment.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Pharmacy Technicians will:

• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls related to Participant Services requests
• Partner with departments including Pharmacy, Shipping, Customer Care, Finance, Claims Processing, and Eligibility for issue resolution
• Manage tasks submitted via mail, call queues, and databases
• Handle extensive phone interactions with members and occasionally prescribers
• Escalate clinical issues/questions to Pharmacists when required

This position offers the opportunity to work from home after training, contingent on performance and business needs.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• Licensing: Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License or Trainee License in good standing (required)
• Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Experience:
• • 0–6 months of pharmacy or call center experience (customer service preferred)
  • Willing to consider trainee license holders
• Other: Must be comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced, phone-based environment
