Job Title: Buyer II

Location: Merritt Island, FL 32953

Duration: 3 Months

Work Schedule - Monday–Friday

Pay rate start at $46 per hour on W2

Summary:

Responsible for managing suppliers, procurement processes, and strategic sourcing to support spaceflight system development. Oversee the full procurement cycle, from RFQs and contract negotiations to delivery and payment, ensuring on-time, cost-effective, and compliant results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier relationships and procurement activities for spaceflight systems.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs, perform price analysis, and negotiate contracts (FFP, T&M, cost types).
• Develop and execute long-term agreements and sourcing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, AS9100, and import/export regulations (ITAR/EAR).
• Track program metrics and ensure on-time, budget-compliant deliveries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (5+ yrs experience) or Master’s (3 yrs) in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related.
• Procurement and supplier management expertise.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of FAR, AS9100, engineering data, and contract types.

Preferred:

• Aerospace/space industry experience, avionics/fluids knowledge.
• CPSM, CSCP, or PMP certification.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Jira, SharePoint.
