LHH Recruitment Solutions has an Strategic Supply Chain Buyer role for our client in the Elverson PA area. This fully onsite role oversee $15–$20 million in annual spend across critical material categories. This isn’t just purchasing—it’s strategic planning, supplier collaboration, and system optimization to fuel aggressive growth.

Location: Elverson, Pennsylvania

Type: Full-time, Exempt

Salary: $105,000 – $115,000 annually

Bonus: 15% year-end performance bonus

Responsibilities

• Convert MRP signals into timely, cost-effective purchase orders
• Manage supplier communications around pricing, delivery, and issue resolution
• Fine-tune ERP planning parameters (safety stock, lead times, reorder points)
• Analyze demand and inventory trends to uncover risks and savings
• Partner with production, logistics, and warehouse teams
• Improve inventory health and minimize rush orders
• Provide data-driven insights to support sourcing decisions
• Contribute to Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Build reporting tools to monitor performance and supplier compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA/certifications a plus)
• 5+ years of procurement experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Proven track record managing high-value spend and supplier relationships
• Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Occasional travel (0–10%) to supplier sites
• Highly collaborative, fast-paced work environment
• Physical activity includes frequent sitting, walking, and standing
