We're currently looking for a Backup Babysitter near Ashland, Nebraska (68003/68521)

A lovely woman near Ashland is searching for a warm, reliable, and communicative Backup Babysitter to care for her 10 month old. Intermittent Care is needed in the sitter's home on an as-needed basis on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:30am to 3pm and Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7:30am to 5pm.

Those applying do not need to be available for all of the family's requests, but should understand that there are no guaranteed hours for this position.

• Schedule:
  • Monday - Tuesday:
    • 5:30am to 3:00pm
    • Thursday - Friday - Saturday:
      • 7:30am to 5:00pm
  • Intermittent care / As Needed / No guaranteed hours
• Start date: ASAP
• Rate: $13.50-15 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care in the early mornings
• Offer age-appropriate entertainment
• Communicate with the parent during the day with updates, including wake-up time, meals, and general well-being
• Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 2+ years of paid, professional childcare experience
• Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references
• CPR certified or willing to become certified
• Has valid photo ID
• Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check

Compensation

Position pays $13.50-15 per hour and client is looking for backup care when their primary caregiver is unavailable. Helpr
