AP Specialist
Columbus, OH

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their accounting or finance career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes
• Process and verify vendor invoices (moderate volume)
• Perform weekly check runs (approximately 40–50 checks/week)
• Monitor and respond to the AP email inbox and handle physical mail
• Coordinate with internal teams and contractors via the purchasing email inbox

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software is a plus
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting field
