Healthcare facility looking to bring on Anatomic Pathology Director!

Responsible for planning, organizing, leading, developing and coordinating the efficient operation of the assigned laboratories. Expectations include maintaining cost effective and efficient department operations, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction, working with the medical directors and staff to develop, implement and maintain quality standards and improve performance.

MUST be ASCP certified and MUST have 3+ years of Hospital Lab Management experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science.
• Skills: Must possess analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills necessary to ensure the effective delivery of laboratory services. Understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills. Input and retrieve information from computer.
• Experience: Requires a minimum of five (5) years clinical laboratory experience. 3+ years management experience.
• Certification: Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
